More traditionally, areas such as Soho, Covent Garden, and Piccadilly Circus have attracted large numbers of party-goers. The Box in Soho and fabric in Farringdon are among London’s most famous clubs.
Mayfair and Chelsea are high-class party areas for those who have a bit more cash to splash. Personally not my favorite, steer clear of these areas if you’re trying to party on a budget!
If you’re looking for a more local and less mainstream nightlife, head to the southern areas of Brixton or Elephant & Castle. These areas have some of the best house and electronic music in the country. Try Brixton Jamm or Ministry of Sound Club to sample the best of South London.
2. Manchester
Manchester is also well known for its nightlife not just in the UK, but also throughout Europe and abroad. For a much cheaper price, you can often spend a night out just as well as in London, or maybe even better!
Manchester’s parties are diverse and spread out across the city, so there’s something for everyone no matter what music you like or where you’re staying.
Deansgate is the main commercial area for parties in Manchester. It is most popular among young people for its selection of bars and smaller nightclubs which are great for bar hopping.
If you’re a fan of raves and dance music, Warehouse Project and Hidden are great locations, packed with similarly-minded people no matter what time or day.
3. Bristol
Bristol has a similar vibe to Manchester, with a large number of high-profile venues, as well as smaller yet amazing underground venues for those who prefer this scene.
A lot of the best music content that Bristol has to offer falls under the categories of electronic, house, and techno. The Island is worth mentioning for its unique venue, found in an old police station. Lakota is great for the growing drum ‘n’ bass scene and psychotrance, and Motion is Bristol’s biggest and most popular club.

Whitelock’s Ale Bar is a beautiful wooden-decor pub and the oldest in the city, established in 1715. And, the cocktails at Below Stairs are so great that this bar was voted one of the 50 best in the UK.
The Warehouse is great for world-famous DJs, and house and techno raves. It has even hosted artists as big as Oasis and The Stone Roses. It’s conveniently located in the city center.

Wales’ capital city boasts the best nightlife that Wales has to offer, known for more raucous and lively scenes than many other cities.
